Our client is global food manufacturer, currently going through substantial growth and change. At the heart of this change is the development of people and a vacancy now exists for a Learning and Development Manager to take ownership of the full training cycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Define and implement companywide training plans/strategy to include onboarding, compliance and management training
- Responsible for the audit and compliance training offering for 2 sites
- Manage and develop the Technical Trainer
- Champion/ being responsible for the L&D system
- Design and develop new management training process/materials
- Delivery of bespoke training to various stakeholders including management teams
- Sourcing / working with outsourced training providers to ensure high level of delivery with regards to safety/ food safety, compliance, and SOP training
- Co-ordination of training with internal subject matter experts and external providers
- Overseeing apprenticeships programmes in order to maximise the apprenticeship levy in all areas of the business
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of training within the business
- Manage training budgets
Skills/Qualifications:
- Training/ L&D experience gained in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- Management design and delivery experience
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Car owner holding a full and clean driving licence / able to travel if required
